What is reticulated foam?

Reticulated foam is a good quality open-pore foam. Unlike foams where the cells are closed, reticulated foam is open — held together only by strands. Because of this, it’s exceptionally flexible and abrasion-resistant.  This foam is primarily used for filtration of particulates.
